More Me Co. is a brand created for mamas.
It is a lifestyle shift - encouraging mothers to embrace their unique identity, reconnect with what nourishes their soul, and truly prioritize their self-care despite the societal norm that puts them last on the care list.
It is a space to learn how to achieve that feeling of more me, connect with like-minded women who are in the same place, and uncover the person that motherhood may have suppressed.
Founded by Shannon Ferrell, a mother of two little girls, More Me Co. was created out of the recognition that no one really provides preparation or tools to deal with all of the transformations women go through during motherhood. There were no guidelines on how to deal with the feeling of longing for your pre-children self. There was not a playbook for successfully conquering the adage “you can’t pour from an empty cup.” There was no place of community for moms who want more out out their motherhood experience for themselves.
But now there is.

Before I was a mother,
I was a woman.
Hi, I’m Shannon.
As a stay-at-home mother to two little girls, I experienced firsthand the overwhelming task that is motherhood. It became the definition of who I was and the sole consumer of my time. I felt a loss of my personal identity and longed for just a moment to myself.
I began looking for answers on the internet and social media, only to find that what was out there was advice like take a “me day” full of Target shopping trips and Starbucks lattes or bubble baths by candlelight. Or worse, the cliche I’m sure we’ve all heard, “you can’t pour from an empty cup,” with no steps on how to fill your cup in the first place.
The lack of self-care tactics applicable and feasible for me in my early motherhood years led me to strive to create something for those who come after me. I wanted to use my experience to make sure other mothers who followed had the guidance and tools to make their journey easier.
More Me Co. is a place that I hope mothers for generations to come can use as a safe place or grounding space to remember who they are, connect with like-minded mamas, and enhance their lives with adequate self-care and love.
